Been a while I know but am promising myself to be more active here since it’s just the beginning of the year Happy new year to you wishing everyone a great 2019 filled with health, love , happiness and success!
As known , every new year we decide on writing down resolutions with the hope to start a new satisfying lifestyle that we aim to attain every year.
Personally , am truly promising myself with the will of god to make 2019 my epic year! How can that be done without managing our time and days – so thought of using The Eleven Planner which I previously used , it helped me a lot to make my 2018 more fulfilling! btw I love journal online apps but I prefer the actual paper touch – the smell of new Real paper ignites a certain feeling inside me, it’s actually proven its better to keep a written journal. Since we cannot write as fast as we type, it forces our brains to slow down and be more intentional of our real thoughts Also, numerous studies have proven that the connection of physically writing something (the tactile and kinesthetic moves of it trigger the release of different neurotransmitter in the brain. To me Old ways are always healthier.
Being online daily makes me crave to be offline , when planning and managing my life at least.

As mentioned it’s such a “magic tool” works like a life couch on the go , directs you when lost , inspires you when in quest basically it gives your days a purpose and balances your life obligations.

Today I will be sharing a little gem of a book that changed a lot in me in terms of mind , soul and body.
Basically this book How to Sit (Mindfulness Essentials) by Vietnamese monk Thich that Hannh , shows how breathing is such an important tool that a lot of us is unaware of simply because we all breath so whats the fuss here ?
Well the query here are you breathing well ? if you do trust me your mindset will be reframed , how is that ? you have more power on your thoughts and feelings. Breathing well is easy said than done He focuses on breathing & the rhythm of both inhale and exhale by implementing this we get to be more relaxed, peaceful and manage our emotions.
Meditation is a tool of breathing , by doing that right it takes us deeply inside of yourself to understand your self to the core , and to get this privilege you have to start sitting yes sitting alone doing nothing ! some may find this useless , in a high paced world, it is easy to lose track that time keeping moving and all we can do is control how we spend it, and for that “solitude” is a necessity not a luxury anymore , we truly need time to reflect back so deep to our soul , to understand and feel it and to know where are we heading to in our life. So sit down and be aware of your breathing.
As you get to be aware of your breathing habits you will be more relaxed , and by that freedom is held only if we are living the “here and now” .Simply seize the Now! you will be attracting what you always wanted . Let go of anything that doesn’t grow you anymore and watch your life transform to a long lasting of happiness and achievements. just attain mindfulness.
The joy of meditation is focusing and doing more of what makes you happy! its that what makes life real and exciting! Again, How To Sit is an inspirational, motivational and enlightening book that helped me implement a new mindset and appreciate the little things in life.Finally ,The quality of our presence is the most positive element that we can contribute to the world.
Today ‘s post is dedicated to those who love makeup and are interested in the latest trends in the beauty world, I got an invitation regarding a master class hosted by Giorgio Armani Regional Makeup Artist Raja Daniel … since am a great fan of Giorgio Armani cosmetics I thought not to miss it!
The makeup Artist shared great tips on how to apply makeup for both daily and special occasions , he was very much focused on how to use makeup to highlight your beauty rather than transform or hide your features.
I personally , see makeup as a tool to highlight your beauty features believing that every woman owns her unique kind of beauty , its just that some arn’t yet aware , and don’t know how to present it.
The special thing about GA Cosmetic products , I find that all their products are set to high quality and claim what it states!
The products that I use so far are the under eye master corrector #2 , a bit orangy , I use it instead of a concealer as I see it more natural , and the sheer bronzer (sun fabric) #400 , gives a sun kissed look ,and finally their glowy sheer foundation which I only use in special occasions but does what it claims .
As much as I love makeup , but I care more about my skincare , so I try not to put much, drink water as much to keep hydrated …and why not ? Believing in that “less is more”

Today will be sharing my experience regarding a smoothie drink that I mixed and matched ; I always loved bananas smoothie but I thought why not add something new to it to make it a bit bitter than sweet so I thought of almonds all the way … Yes ! Raw Almond although I don’t like eating them alone So I decided to add it to the smoothie and surprisingly it came out So yummy 💙

- 1 cup of skimmed-milk
- 1 banana
- 5 pieces of raw almond
- 1 tsp. chia seeds
- 1 tsp. oats

Today I will be sharing a salad dish recipe that I came across , and turned out to be very fulfilling and tasty at the same time . It seems to be very rare that you get to like a healthy dish ! I’m a very huge fan of Kale and Pesto .
- 100g whole wheat pasta
- 100g kale leaves
- 1 tbsp pesto
- 4-5 cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 handful black olives
- 20g fetta
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fill 500 ml of boiled water into a large pan with a good pinch of salt , add the pasta and cook
- Place a frying pan on a medium heat , add 1 tbsp olive il , slice the kale into 2cm strips and fry with seasoning , turning regularly until wilted and soft
- Half the tomato ‘s and olives into a bowl and crumble in the feta
- Mix the pesto , lemon juice and vinegar in a bowl
- Drain the pasta and return to the pan add the dressing and kale to the pasta and serve in pasta bowl
- Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil to taste
