This year Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel cruise collection showcased at the island in Dubai , the pre spring /summer 2015 collection reflected somehow the Arabian heritage wear and Islamic unique prints and embroideries and ofcourse the classical tweed is always a must-have signature ,presently in style especially when it comes to Chanel fashion show.
Here are some highlights of the show:
Got this invite couple of days ago from Ecru ( a lifestyle brand) in Kuwait Can’t wait to check out their newly tropical fabrics … The best thing about their fabrics is the vibrant mix of Kuwait and India . It’s my second year of doing my own Kaftan( occasional dress)in ramadan , and hoping to find the perfect fabric from there as I did last year.
Who’s going ? if so Hope to cya there!
Much love ,
A week ago I got an invitation via e-mail on “Nasiba Hafiz” preview collection ,unfortunately I wasn’t able to. For those who does not know who Nasiba Hafiz brand it’s a women’s ready to wear label inspired by old school glamor, tailored for the modern day woman , the designer is basically from Jeddah , SAUDI ARABIA . Loved the invite ,inspired by coca- cola logo .. Cool!
Anyways … Thank you for the invite and was looking forward to check it out but definitely will check out the collection 2014.
The Oscar Sunday was a big night for almost everyone ,especially filmmakers ,artists, actors, actress, directors and of course fashion designers … Searching for a gown for this special night seems to be harder than choosing your wedding gown.Where all celebrities and fashion designers try their very best to win this night.
As I got to watch the whole Oscar night reportage personally the “best dressed ” would be Camila Alves wearing a Gabriela Cadena gown, almost everyone was pretty in pink on Sunday – as I assume to be the color of this upcoming season.
The thing that I mostly liked about Camila Alves dress was both the color and the long train flowing behind her, giving her sophisticated beautiful appearance.
So what was your best gown …
