Summer Smoothie 🌟


Today will be sharing my experience regarding a smoothie drink that I mixed and matched ; I always loved bananas smoothie but I thought why not add something new to it to make it a bit bitter than sweet so I thought of almonds all the way … Yes ! Raw Almond although I don’t like eating them alone So I decided to add it to the smoothie and surprisingly it came out So yummy 💙

Here’s why it’s important to include banana in your Daily Food Intake:

Here’s my own Banana Chia Smoothie Recipe :

  • 1 cup of  skimmed-milk
  • 1 banana
  • 5 pieces of raw almond
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. oats

The Primer Review

Today I will be sharing my feedback on those 2 primers , again my feedback is a personal one which means that what I have experienced may not reflect yours … but from time to time I enjoy sharing my experience to help people who are always in search of the best products out there …

Here you go :

  • Primer 1  is Smashbox (PHOTO FINISH) PURPLE :

I loved this product put it on after the moisturiser, give it a 10 min to dry up then put whatever you want baby cream or a foundation  or wear it alone , it basically does what it claims:

  1. Reduces the appearance of pores instantly
  2. Non drying formula
  3. Absorbs oil  and keeps makeup on up to 8 hours
  4. Gives a flawless feel and look

My Rating : 9/10

 

Primer 2 is Benefit (The POREfessional ) Green :

This product was okay , it doesn’t do the job fully , although it gives you a  beautiful feel on your skin , but the  appearance of pores somehow shows , here what I noticed about this product :

  1. Lightweight
  2. Velvet feeling on the skin
  3. Translucent
  4. Amazing scent

My Rating : 7/10

Kale & Whole Wheat Pasta Salad


Today I will be sharing a salad dish recipe that I came across , and turned out to be very fulfilling and tasty at the same time . It seems to be very rare that you get to like a healthy dish ! I’m a very huge fan of Kale and Pesto .

INGREDIENTS:

  • 100g whole wheat pasta
  • 100g kale leaves
  • 1 tbsp pesto
  • 4-5 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 handful black olives
  • 20g fetta
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Fill 500 ml of boiled water into a large pan with a good pinch of salt , add the pasta and cook
  • Place a frying pan on a medium heat , add 1 tbsp olive il , slice the kale into 2cm strips and fry with seasoning , turning regularly until wilted and soft
  • Half the tomato ‘s and olives  into a bowl and crumble in the feta
  • Mix the pesto , lemon juice and vinegar in a bowl
  • Drain the pasta and return to the pan add the dressing and kale to the pasta and serve in pasta bowl
  • Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil to taste

Midnight Recovery by Kiehl’s

Its been a few month now since I have tried this night serum , it was my first ever product from Kiehl’s , sure I have heard a lot about this brand , but I wasn’t aware of how beneficial its products are … so let me tell you my feedback on this  miracle , how many of us don’t sleep enough , that you wake up in the morning have a tired look , this product did the job! it made me look as if I had the best night sleep !

My personal feedback  on the product:

Pros :

  • Suits all skin type
  •  It has a lavender scent, very relaxing
  •  Luminous skin in the morning
  • Heals the acne scars
  • It lasts almost 3 month

 

Cons :

  • Not an anti-aging product
  • The scent is strong and somehow discomforts the eye

My Detox Plan


detox

It’s been a while since I was thinking of doing a detox diet plan ,not an extreme one , just the normal energiser & cleansing type. My biggest concern now is to get rid of any excess waste that my body lately been storing and in the same time to strengthen my immune system.

My detox plan was a 3-day mission, The Energizer Cleanse focusing on cold pressed juices rich in both vegetables and fruits that our body’s initially requires.It consists of two Super Green Juice, one Beetroot, one PAMP (Pineapple, Apple, Mint, Pear), one Spicy Lemonade and one of our creamy Almond Milk (with dates and cinnamon).

First of all , before starting the  detox plan ,I stopped 2 days ahead carbs and coffee just to make my body aware of the eating habits change awaiting.

The First day of the detox was the hardest , I had headaches and felt sluggish! but as long as you are done with the first day consider yourself  somehow done, am not saying that it was easy , sadly its not.. I was stressed and inactive – although the juices I had were supposed to claim energy!

My feedback on the detox challenge was that  I really felt I needed it so bad ,I needed to cleanse my self from all the toxics in my body. I felt so light in soul and radiant in skin – I now believe “What you indulge inside you really does reflect back on you” ! Eat well nothing is more valuable than your wellbeing! It’s the healthy intake and lifestyle that brings health , happiness and peace. – Nothing else.
