Yesterday I attended an amazing private event that was hosted by Moda ‘Operandi; an online luxury fashion retailer that allows (members only) to pre-order the latest runway collections from leading brand names in the fashion world including all exclusive items from haute couture to ready to wear. In addition to jewelry, bags, and shoes instantly from their runway show. In other words MO puts you front row at the runway, from the comfort and privacy of your own time who would say no for such privileged assistance.
The event’s venue was at the Missoni Hotel, in a very fashionable suite since it was located at the 17th floor of the hotel where presidential suites are located it had a sensational view of Kuwait scenery and great hospitality from the hostess offering us delicious desserts, drinks and pleasant atmosphere.
The event started with the hostess (founders of MO) Aslaug Magnusdottir and Lauren Santo Domingo welcoming all the guests and then started to reveal the story behind launching this online luxurious retailer, how it works and privileges provided to their clientele.
There were 3 vintage Hermes bag on display which were available for sale .I really loved the event and concept of this online retailer as mentioned that Now that we can get everything on sale, the only benefit of paying “full price” is to have it first and I totally agree, we need exclusivity back since everything nowadays in someway lost its value and sparkle.
